Beer
stein - My father
sent to my mother
from Germany during
WWII; would have
been between Feb and
April 1945; The top
and handle are
pewter, very heavy
but soft and
pliable, cannon
barrel was broken
off years ago; all
writing is German;
if you finish your
beer and look to the
bottom of the stein
w/ good lighting,
there is a lady in a
field speaking to a
soldier molded into
the bottom. |
